Bahrain Airlines to launch 100 new air routes
Bahrain plans to launch around 100 new air routes in addition to existing services. Bahrain plans to launch 100 new air routes by 2026. Mohammed Yousif Al Binfala, CEO of Bahrain Airport Company, said that the Routes World 2024 conference played a decisive role in establishing Bahrain as a major aviation hub.
The Minister of Transport and Telecommunications, Mohammed bin Tamar Al Kaabi, also highlighted how the event is shaping the future of global aviation. Gulf Air also announced new routes to Shanghai and Guangzhou to target China’s expanding tourism market.
More than 2,300 delegates from 230 airlines and 530 airports participated in the conference.
